The Hidden Place 
I really dig this guy’s work. As an art student I am always looking for and finding contemporary artists that light me up and inspire me. Lately it has been Uribe, Kanevsky, Jeremy Geddes and Karekan. I found an interview with Karekan somewhere in which he talked about some of his heroes. One of them, he said, was Edwin Dickinson. To me, it is incredibly exciting to become inspired by an artist like this and then become equally inspired by the artists looks to.

Oh my, I so love these. So much movement and force. I can’t help but place a social commentary on to these as well… about how gross we humans are. We create to destroy. Hmmm maybe too deep. But got to love the paint none the less. Like David said, ‘keep em comin’!
