Rupert is an incredible artist, one that might seem simply very skillful. But his approach to painting, his thought process, the layers, the time he dedicates to trying to understand, to getting something right… perhaps might not be noticed by a quick perusal.

Wonderful! I looked at his portrait of the Queen and Rembrandt sprang to mind. So much more than the surface image.
